Safest Aggregate Pavements for Substation Access

Aggregate is commonly used for electrical substation pavements and transformer pads to create a safe, non-conductive insulation layer between workers and the ground. The traditional aggregate surface solutions offers high resistivity control for step and touch electrical potentials, but must contain fines for a stable surface able to resist heavy vehicle stresses.
