Tree Root Protection (TRP)

The majority of a tree’s root system is contained within the top three feet of the surface, and construction excavation and compaction can damage or even destroy roots to the point where trees cannot survive. Through confined infill,  the GEOWEB® TRP system becomes a semi-rigid slab with exceptional load distribution characteristics.

By distributing and bridging applied loads, the GEOWEB TRP system significantly reduces vertical stresses that are typically applied to the underlying soil and root zone. It offers a low-impact and economical way to access sites without causing damage to trees.
