Base Strength Improvement Reduces Pavement Depth

Engineers employ the GEOWEB® System to reduce the cross-section and improve the structural strength of the pavement base layer. The 3D GEOWEB structure creates a stiffened base layer, and the resulting increase in base strength allows a reduction in the pavement depth design. This reduction factor varies depending upon the pavement design.
